Tenon® Masonry Veneer Mortar PM
Tenon® Masonry Veneer Mortar PM (Polymer-Modified) (BOM #120461) is a high-performance, multi-purpose, polymer-modified mortar, used for both traditional thick bed scratch and base coats and as the bonding mortar for installing real or manufactured masonry veneer units. A blend of cementitious materials, oven-dried sand, and special performance admixtures creates both a mechanical and chemical bond to the substrate, significantly outperforming standard Type S and N mortars. Can also be used for grouting yet it is excellent for applications such as dry stack where mortar joints are not used. Meets the requirements of ASTM C1714 Standard Specification for Preblended Dry Mortar Mix for Unit Masonry; ASTM C270 Standard Specification for Mortar for Unit Masonry; ANSI 118.4 Standard Specifications for Modified Dry-Set Cement Mortar; and ACI 530 Shear Bond Standards.
Tenon® Underground Utility Mortar
Tenon® Underground Utility Mortar 50 lb. (BOM #120704) and 80 lb. (BOM #114181) is a is a dry, preblended, air-entrained mortar mix containing Portland cement, hydrated lime, and dried masonry sand that is formulated for superior bond and outstanding freeze-thaw resistance in all underground precast concrete structure applications. This product meets the requirements of ASTM C270 Standard Specification for Mortar for Unit Masonry and ASTM C1714 Standard Specification for Preblended Dry Mortar Mix for Unit Masonry.
Tenon® Concrete & Mortar Dissolver RM
Tenon® Concrete & Mortar Dissolver RM is an environmentally friendly liquid alternative to aggressive acid-based concrete removers. Concrete & Mortar Dissolver RM is specifically designed for use in the ready-mix industry to clean equipment while the concrete and mortar are still in their plastic state. This product will retard the set time and prevent the cementitious bonds from forming, allowing the material to be easily washed from the equipment and tools. Available in 5 gal. pails (BOM #113010), 55 gal. drums (BOM #113000), and 275 gal. totes (BOM #129960).
Tenon® Metro Mix™

Tenon® Masonry Veneer Mortar HB
Tenon® Masonry Veneer Mortar HB (High Bond) (BOM #120462) is a high-performance, non-sag, fiber-reinforced, polymer-modified bonding mortar for installing real or manufactured masonry veneer units. Masonry Veneer Mortar HB is a blend of cementitious materials, oven-dried sand, and special performance admixtures to create a professional strength mortar. This high-yield mortar allows for the same coverage as a traditional 50 lb. bag in a lighter-weight 40 lb. size. Meets or exceeds the requirements of ANSI A118.4 Standard Specifications for Dry-Set Cement Mortar (unmodified mortar); ANSI A118.11 Standard Specifications for EGP (Exterior Glue Plywood) Latex-Portland Cement Mortar (mortar which will bond to plywood); ANSI A118.15 Standard Specifications for Improved Modified Dry-Set Cement Mortar (improved modified mortar); and ASTM C270 Standard Specification for Mortar for Unit Masonry.
What are Air-Entraining Concrete Admixtures?
Air-entraining concrete admixtures facilitate the development of a system of microscopic air bubbles within concrete during mixing. The main reason for the use of air-entraining admixtures is to increase the resistance of concrete against the alternating freezing and thawing cycles of water. TCC Materials carries multiple air-entraining products such as Akona Liquid Air Entraining Admixture […]
